At Heart & Sole Africa it is our mission to eradicate podoconiosis through compassionate service, health education, and community empowerment.

HASA serves podoconiosis patients in 13 clinics across Rwanda, impacting more than 2,000 people and their families (nearly half of the estimated people diagnosed with podoconiosis in Rwanda). The HASA team provides training, supervision and mentorship to the healthcare professionals in the 13 designated clinics and plans are being made to expand our healthcare professional training program into the Congo and Uganda where there are many more suffering from podo living around the Virunga Volcanic Mountain Region.
